Imagine a place where every design decision was driven by an equal concern for people’s well-being and the organization’s productivity. This new replacement facility for The Hospital of Silicon Valley is user-friendly, technologically smart, seismically secure, and architecturally stunning. Millican Jones led design of the interior architecture, collaborating with the client, KMD Architects, and our consultant, K2A. From the meditative labyrinth in the lobby, through the uncluttered sweeps of corridors with clear views of gardens, we designed an environment that minimizes the stress that people have around hospitals, and instead created positive experiences throughout El Camino Hospital. |
